A fast is recommended, water permitted. Draw a FULL lavender tube, centrifuge and separate in a transport tube within one hour, if immediate centrifugation is not possible, the specimen must be kept on ice and centrifuged within an hour,separate immediately after.
Collect an additional tube if other tests are ordered.
